Production Operator

**Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:**Responsible for machining, handling products, equipment and materials per Method of Manufacturing and the Quality Procedures.Must run production according to schedules, unless instructed otherwise.Must deburr, clean, and pack items per job instructions.Must be able to maintain correct counts.Accurately document/record information on forms & labels.Must perform Quality Checks with the use of gauges and visual inspection per In-Process Inspection Reports while running production.Demonstrate ability to safely operate various machines.Must be able to read and understand Job Travelers / Job routings.Read and understand basic blueprints.Report labor, rework, and scrap directly in computer operating system.Perform or identify with any operator maintenance on the machine in use.Ability to perform repetitious tasks, occasionally subject to frequent changes in job assignment as requested by Supervisor.Other tasks as needed.**Skills and Abilities:**Manufacturing productionMust be able to lift up to 40lbs continuously.Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day.Must be self-motivated.Strong work ethic is required.Basic computer skills and knowledge helpful.Follow all company safety procedures.Keep work area clean.| | | |**Physical Requirements:**Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
