Step into a meaningful role supporting student communication and academic growth as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This exciting contract opportunity is available in the Southwest Houston area, serving either a middle or high school population—tailored to your preference. You’ll collaborate within a supportive educational environment committed to empowering students and professionals alike.

Your responsibilities will cover the full spectrum of SLP services, including conducting therapeutic interventions, performing assessments, participating in ARD meetings, and supporting students in grades 6-8 or 10-12. If your passion leans toward supervision or mentoring, that option is also available. The caseload typically ranges from 50 to 60 students, with assignments made thoughtfully based on your ZIP code to help streamline your commute.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active TX FL SLP license (please provide an image of your license).
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.
• School-based SLP experience preferred.
• Current or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance with the school district.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and generate reports.
• Participate in ARD and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Document progress and collaborate with educational staff and families.
• Supervise or mentor, if desired.
