Hospice Registered Nurse

University Home Care & Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, ensuring comfort and dignity in their final stages of life. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities, focusing on pain management and symptom control. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Monitor patient health and progress regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary. Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding end-of-life care. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Previous experience in hospice or palliative care preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
