What You'll Do

• Circulate in the OR for advanced surgical cases, including robotic, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, urology, and transplant procedures
• Support robotic surgeries using DaVinci systems
• Assist with complex surgeries such as craniotomies, aneurysm clipping, and transplants
• Manage patient care before, during, and after operations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesia and surgical techs
• Follow strict safety and sterile protocols throughout procedures
• Document all surgical activities accurately in the EMR system

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or state of residence
• Minimum of 2 years of OR/surgical experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Experience with robotic surgery and neuro/spine procedures (preferred)
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam

• Experience with transplant, cardio/thoracic surgery, or advanced neuro procedures
• CSFA or CSA certification for first assist roles

About the Assignment This assignment at a prominent hospital in Shreveport features a busy OR with 13 general use beds and a focus on high-acuity surgical cases. The team-based environment values professionalism, flexibility, and patient-centered care. The unit requires rotating holiday coverage, and scheduling includes on-call shifts to support ongoing surgical needs. Orientation is provided to ensure familiarity with hospital protocols and equipment.
