IT SpecialistThe IT Specialist supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and improvement of Bimeda's information technology environment. This role focuses on providing reliable technical support, maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and assisting with IT projects to ensure business continuity and efficient service delivery.Role Specific RequirementsProvide technical support for IT infrastructure, systems, and end users.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.Administer and maintain server, network, and cloud environments with oversight from senior IT staff.Monitor, analyze, and resolve system performance issues; escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior staff.Support implementation of IT upgrades, patches, and system changes.Assist with cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, and access management.Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support activities.Respond to service desk tickets within defined service levels.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.Serve as a point of escalation for issues beyond the scope of Level 1 staff and drive issues to resolution.Competencies Required for the RoleEFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION - Is the ability to convey information to another effectively and efficiently, to listen – help facilitate sharing of information between people.
