CVOR RN – Texas | Full-Time Opportunity

Position Overview

• Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Bill Rate: $80/hr
• Schedule: No weekends listed
• RTO: Must be disclosed before offer

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with open-heart/cardiovascular surgical cases
• Must be willing and able to support General OR cases when CVOR volume is low

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA only)
• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License

Education

• BSN preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Independently provide perioperative nursing care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient response and document care in Epic
• Educate patients and families
• Delegate appropriately and collaborate with the surgical team

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years of recent CVOR/Open Heart OR experience
• Comfortable with:
  • CABG
  • Valve repair/replacement
  • Other cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Epic proficient
• Flexible to float into General OR when needed
• Strong independent clinical judgment and teamwork skills

We have both 40 hrs and 36 hrs option for this role: 40 hrs weekly pay=Pay Package:$2,185.20/week 36 hrs weekly pay=Pay Package: $$1,979/Week
