You will take hundreds of cuttings a week, transplant and up-poton the plants' schedule (not yours), defoliate and trellis room after room, andkeep every space clean enough to pass an unannounced inspection. Every plantcarries a METRC tag; every one is tracked from cutting to harvest. The peoplewho thrive here aren't the ones who go fastest in the first hour - they'rethe ones whose 8th hour looks the same as their 1st. What you'll actually do Propagation & mother plants Take cuttings from mother plants to spec — clean cuts, healthy stock,zero cross-strain mix-ups. Set them in rooting media and track them throughrooting. Log cutting counts and rooting results at the propagation kiosk so therecords match the trays. Help maintain mother stock: pruning, feeding, health checks, and flagginganything that looks off before it becomes a problem. Veg & flower room plant work Transplant and up-pot on schedule; move plants between rooms without everlosing tag-to-plant identity. Defoliate, prune, and trellis to spec — consistent work, plant afterplant, row after row. We do not chase speed at the cost of plant health. Support watering and fertigation: hand-water where needed, check emittersand drippers, report clogs and dry pots the day you find them. Support integrated pest management (IPM): scout for pests and disease,place and read sticky traps, assist with approved treatments, and flagsuspect plants immediately. Apply and verify METRC plant tags at phase changes. Counts on the floormust match counts in the system — you are part of how that stays true. Harvest & green waste Help cut down, weigh, and hang harvest plants; record weights at theharvest kiosk as you go. Handle green waste to SOP — weigh it, render it unusable, and log it.Nothing leaves the building untracked. Cleaning & compliance Turn over rooms between crops: strip, sanitize, reset benches and trellis,and 5S the space before the next planting. Clean your tools and the shared equipment (scissors, trays, carts, benches)to SOP every shift. Follow cleanliness and contamination protocols. Wash hands, change gloves,don't carry pests or pathogens between rooms. Enter your work at the floor kiosks as you do it — plant counts,weights, waste logs, room moves — and other tasks that keep thefacility audit-ready. Who thrives in this role This is repetitive precision work in a regulated environment. We hire for themdeliberately. Industriousness You finish what you start. Hour 8 of defoliation feels different from hour 1,but your pace and your plant care stay flat. You don't need a manager to pushyou through the slow part of the shift. Big Five Conscientiousness facet — meta-analytic correlation around 0.21 with job performance. Orderliness Your cart is organized before you start. Tools go back where they came from.You'd rather re-count a bench than log a wrong number. You notice when a tagdoesn't match a plant. Steadiness under pressure When a room turnover backs up, when a plant count doesn't reconcile at the endof a long day, when a crop takes a pest hit — you don't spiral. You namewhat's wrong, document it, and move forward. Low-Neuroticism profile — predicts safety performance and reduced burnout in repetitive roles. Honesty about hard things If you snapped a branch, you say so. If a count is off, you flag it. If yousaw a coworker shortcut the SOP, you raise it. METRC records have to matchthe plants on the floor, and that depends on you. HEXACO Honesty-Humility — strongest single-trait predictor of workplace deviance avoidance (Pletzer et al. 2019). You don't need to be the fastest, the most outgoing, or the most ambitious.You don't need to love cannabis (though it doesn't hurt). You do need to be thekind of person whose word is good and whose attention to detail doesn't dropwhen nobody's watching. What we don't expect Cannabis experience. We train. If you've cared foranything living on a schedule — a garden, animals, a greenhouse —you have the foundation. A specific personality. Quiet introverts and steady extravertsboth do this work well. Speed at the expense of plant health or accuracy. If acoworker tells you to cut a corner to hit a number, the answer is no. What we offer $20 per hour. Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. A single shift - we don't run rotating shifts. Paid training, paid sick time, 11 paid holidays, and the paid Trifecta orientation curriculum. Massachusetts CCC Registered Agent registration paid for by Trifecta. A clean facility, real climate control, well-kept rooms, and managementthat takes the work seriously. Requirements 21 or older (state law). Eligible for CCC Registered Agent status — we file the paperwork; youpass the background check (we do not disqualify for cannabis-only convictions). Able to be on your feet for an 8-hour shift; bend, kneel, reach overhead,and work from step stools; lift up to 50 lb occasionally (media, pots,water). Comfortable working in warm, humid grow rooms under bright horticultural lighting. Able to follow short work instructions and match identifiers exactly. Comfortable using a tablet or floor kiosk to log your work. Reliable transportation. High-school diploma or GED. Working conditions Grow-room work may include repetitive motion, standing, bending andoverhead reach, warm and humid conditions, bright horticultural lighting,regulated material, cleaning agents, and required PPE. Schedules may change with the crop calendar and harvest demand. Only trained and authorized staff may perform regulated orequipment-specific steps. All work follows current Cannabis Control Commission requirements, siteprocedures, safety rules, privacy controls, and approved recordkeepingpractices.
