Worship Leader

First Baptist Church of Valley View is seeking a Worship Leader to lead Christ-centered, Scripture-aligned worship and provide leadership for the worship ministry in partnership with the Senior Pastor. This role includes worship planning, team leadership, and volunteer coordination. Position Full-time preferred (part-time considered). Salary Up to $48,000/year (based on experience and role scope). Key Responsibilities Lead congregational worship with spiritual sensitivity and musical excellence. Plan worship services with the Senior Pastor (themes, song selection, flow, and transitions). Prepare and lead rehearsals; provide charts/lyrics and coordinate musicians and vocalists. Recruit, train, schedule, and encourage worship and production/tech volunteers. Coordinate worship for special services, seasonal events, and church-wide gatherings. Reporting Structure Reports to the Senior Pastor; collaborates with staff and leads worship/tech volunteer teams. Qualifications Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with church beliefs. Demonstrated ability to lead worship and develop teams (musicians, vocalists, and volunteers). Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Background check required.
