Were looking for candidates who are skilled builders and good with hands-on projects that require the use of power tools and hand tools. An ideal candidate will be reliable with a good work history. $18.54/HR | Monday-Sunday, M-F 6am-4:30pm optional overtime Sat Sun 6am-2:30pm/ph3Job Description:/h3ulliUse machinist skills to build new industrial equipment./liliFabricate new and repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment./liliShows proficiency in reading/interpreting prints and can produce shop sketches for the build or repair task at hand./liliDetermine any necessary changes in the dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting new or used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments during a build./liliLocate the source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments./liliRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts./liliAdjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges./li/ulh3Builder Requirements:/h3ulli5-7 years of related experience preferred/liliHS Diploma/ GED/liliTechnical process understanding/liliExcellent mechanical and technical skills./liliThorough knowledge of machinist methodologies./liliUses machinist/millwright skills to build industrial equipment./liliAbility to frequently walk, stand for extended periods (8-10 hours a day), balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift while performing functions of the position./liliComfortable with cleaning and quality control/liliAble to reach overhead and climb ladders as needed./liliAble to lift 50 pounds./li/ulh3About Cardinal Staffing Services:/h3pAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
