Mechanical Construction Manager (Wastewater)

Pay: $90k - $140kLocation: Farmington Hills MI 48336Schedule - Mon - Fri 7a - 4p Our client is a mechanical contracting company in the metropolitan Detroit area who specializes in Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects, and is looking to hire a Project Manager. The company has been serving the needs of Southeast Michigan municipalities for over 60 years, maintaining, updating, and providing new process piping and equipment. Responsibilities:Review vendor data and shop drawings for conformance to project plans and specificationsMaintain Logs (Shop Drawings, Procurement, RFIs, RFQs, Change Orders)Prepare and manage project schedules and budgetsSupervise/Manage Employees, Subcontractors & VendorsCoordination of the workMaintain relationships with Owners, Contractors, Subcontractors, and VendorsTimely recognition of project issuesReview drawings and specifications with the project team and highlight any areas of concern Requirements:5+ years of experience as a project manager within water/wastewater industrySelf-disciplined / motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills and solid organization and time management skillsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to follow through and meet deadlinesAbility to read and understand plans, specifications, and schedulesAbility to organize and prioritize multiple project tasks and respond to client requestsKnowledge of construction and scheduling techniques#LI-MW2
