Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based settings or working with children and adolescents preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support teams
• Knowledge of IEP documentation and development
• Flexibility to provide part-time and PRN coverage

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students to develop individualized OT plans that address fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in a school environment, adapting techniques to classroom dynamics
• Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and recommend equipment or modifications as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive learning environments
• Offer training and resources to educators and support staff as needed
