Legal Assistant/Receptionist

Grosskopf & Burch Law Firm is looking for an outgoing, friendly, optimistic person to be the first point of contact in our Marshfield, Wisconsin, office. We are a niche law firm focusing exclusively on estate planning, elder law, and estate administration, looking for a legal assistant/receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities include: General office administrative duties Overseeing the attorney's calendar Answer and screen telephone calls Greet visitors and direct them appropriately Process incoming and outgoing mail; occasional deliveries of outgoing mail and parcels to the Post Office and/or UPS Maintain the reception area Drafting correspondence and other legal documents as required Opening and closing files, both physically and electronically Coordinating with our main office for ordering of all office supplies Opportunity to train to assist with probate and estate administration duties Qualifications: Basic computer and Microsoft Office Experience Excellent interpersonal skills Filing skills High level of organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Professional office skills Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions Ability to multi-task Ability to be flexible and open-minded.
