In this role, you'll join forces with experienced surgeons and devoted nursing staff to ensure that each patient's surgical experience is smooth, supportive, and entirely patient-centered. From educating patients before their operations to skillfully assisting in the OR, you'll make meaningful contributions daily in an environment that truly values your expertise and passion.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews
• Support the diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, such as prepping the surgical field, ensuring proper patient positioning, and assisting with instrument exchange during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients and their families

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical focus are highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
