Program/Location: Transitional Support Services (TSS)/ New Bedford Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Pay Range: $20 to $25 Status: Full Time 1st shift Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues 7:00am-3:30pm About Us Our Transitional Support Services Programs (TSS) offer co‑ed services that bridge the gap between detox and step‑down services to residential after‑care. High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community‑based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Recovery Specialist Job Duties Applicants should have knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit Observation & accounting of patients at all times ensuring safety (hourly checks with documentation) Escorting patients to meals & fresh air breaks Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings Recovery Specialist Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED Knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries High Point and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers.
