Substitute Secretary

Office AssistantProvide assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the assigned office. Must be able to manage an office effectively, establish priorities, and deal with emergency situations with students, parents, community residents, and staff. Provide all needed support/assistance to the principal or director of curriculum or director of special services.Qualifications: High School diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum experience in general or school office work as determined by the Board. Knowledge of educational practices and experience with business software packages. Strong analytical, communication and human relations skills. Must be able to enter, process and analyze data quickly and efficiently. Must have demonstrated experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information. Must be proficient using Google, Microsoft Office and other business office software. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.Rate: $18.00/hour Duration: When needed throughout the 2026-2027 school year Must provide proof of vaccination or submit weekly test results per New Jersey Order 253 Must be a New Jersey resident per NJ First The successful candidate will need to reside in the State of NJ within 1 year of appointment.
