Job Description: Join a talented team of Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses in Pomona, California, for a 13-week travel contract. During this assignment, you’ll provide critical care in a busy acute care hospital that is recognized as a magnet facility with a Level II Trauma designation. Your expertise will support the care of mothers and newborns in a setting that values precision, compassion, and teamwork. Job Specifics: Location: Pomona, California Shift: 12 hours, Days (07:00 – 19:00) Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, with the possibility for the client to cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment. This role involves providing obstetric care with a focus on vaginal exams, baby care, and supporting Labor and Delivery activities for approximately 300 births. The candidate must hold current certifications including BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (all 11 components), and Advanced Fetal Monitoring. Previous experience with labor support, neonatal care, and teamwork in a high-volume setting is essential. Local candidates are welcome, but licensing must be current.
