Title
Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Schedule
Full Time Evenings (3pm-11:30pm), every other weekend and holidays required

Requirements
- NYS RN Licensure
- Minimum of one (1) year Long Term Care experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- BLS Certification (through AHA or RQI only)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of nursing units and provide clinical supervision to nursing staff.
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Assure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts.
- Communicate effectively with nursing management regarding unit issues and collaborate to resolve them.
- Make administrative decisions in the absence of senior management as necessary.
