Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RBT certification or relevant paraprofessional licensure
• Recent experience in a school-based setting is essential
• Proficient in implementing behavioral strategies and interventions
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required
• Skilled in managing students with diverse behavioral needs
• Comfortable and experienced in assisting with toileting and personal care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioral and academic needs
• Assist classroom teachers by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and reinforce behavioral interventions under guidance from educational and behavioral specialists
• Support students with daily routines, including hygiene and toileting assistance where needed
• Document student progress and communicate observations to relevant staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
