About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years in critical care nursing License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Telemetry test required prior to starting. Experience with multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. Telemetry test must be passed to begin work. Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with critical care experience. This position requires evening and night shifts. The candidate will work 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and some holidays are required. The nurse must demonstrate competency in various critical care specialties. Experience with adult populations is required. The position entails providing care for a high acuity patient population. The nurse will float as needed to different units. Certified nurses will participate in an academic learning environment. We value teamwork and shared governance among staff. The role requires managing advanced medical technologies and critical procedures. Competency in accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and ventilator management is essential. The nurse will be part of a Magnet-designated facility. Candidates should appreciate the autonomy and flexibility of floating to specialized units. All required certifications must be current and valid prior to starting.
