About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in critical care experience required. License: WI RN or compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required - AHA ONLY. Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc. Telemetry testing required prior to starting. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse who would thrive in a critical care environment. The position involves working day/evening 8-12 hour shifts, including every other weekend and some holidays. Experience with diverse critical care populations such as IMC/Progressive/General care is essential. Candidates must be able to manage high acuity patients in various ICU settings. Key skills include access and management of ports, arterial line management, and ventilator care. Travelers must be competent in multiple ICU specialties and have the ability to float as needed. Basic Arrhythmia experience is required along with the interpretation of dysrhythmias. A telemetry exam will be necessary before starting. Successful candidates will have a track record of managing critical care situations and patient populations effectively.
