Day shift with hours between 7:30a - 5:30p, depending on rotation
Weekend coverage required
Call ratio: 1:7
Requirements
Board Certified in Pathology
Minnesota license preferred but willing to consider licensing
Epic experience - Highly Preferred

Surgical pathology
GI pathology
GU pathology
Neuropathology
Dermatopathology
Hematopathology (bone marrow and lymph nodes)
Interpretation of bone marrow aspirate and biopsy
Cytology
Hematology
Microbiology
Chemistry and serology
Blood bank
Rapid evaluation of adequacy for image guided biopsies
Assignment Details
Practice setting: Hospital based pathology lab
Average patients per day: 40
Approximate cases read per day: 80-100
Clinical lab responsibility includes blood bank call at night
EMR: Epic
Group size includes 6 physicians, 5 histotechnologists, 1 pathology assistant, and 1 cytotechnologist
Other pathologists present during coverage
