Job Overview

We are hiring for 1st and 2nd Shift Assemblers to support the manufacturing, testing, and inspection of wind turbines and large heating/cooling units. This role involves hands-on assembly work, material handling, and crate building in a high-quality production environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused.

Schedule

1st shift

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Every other Friday off

2nd shift

• Monday – Thursday : 3:30PM – 2:00AM
• EVERY Friday off

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble large units, including prepping extrusions by cleaning surfaces and applying adhesive tape accurately
• Work with copper tubing by flattening and bending materials with precision and care
• Use tools such as torque wrenches, impact drivers, and rivet tools to complete assemblies
• Perform quality checks on components and report defects or issues promptly
• Build and secure shipping crates using hand and power tools
• Safely unload and move materials using pry bars, lifting straps, and proper techniques
• Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous assembly experience or similar hands-on manufacturing background
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working with large equipment and mechanical components
• Consistent work history and reliable attendance
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Machine shop or machining experience
• Experience with brazing, soldering, or similar processes
• Inspection or quality control experience
• Familiarity with HVAC systems or thermal products
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility producing large-scale equipment
• Hands-on work with tools, copper tubing, and mechanical components
• Required PPE: steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hats (when needed)
• Casual dress: jeans, t-shirts, and closed-toe shoes permitted

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lancaster,PA.
