Informatica Developer
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Informatica Developer to join their dynamic team. As an Informatica Developer, you will be part of the Data Integration Department supporting the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, maintain, and test ETL packages using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x.
- Collaborate with development teams and business partners to ensure successful delivery of application solutions in an agile environment.
- Create detailed technical specifications and documentation for ETL processes.
- Perform source system analysis and support data extraction from Oracle and DB2 databases.
- Develop and implement job schedules for automated ETL processing, including error handling and logging.
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of experience with Informatica ETL tools, including PowerCenter 8+ and Cloud/PowerCenter 9.x.
- Strong background in Oracle, Exadata, PL/SQL, and UNIX scripting.
- Experience working with data modeling, including fact and dimension tables, star schema, and data warehousing objects.
- Proficiency in parsing flat files and applying complex logic for data processing.
- Financial domain experience is essential, with a proven track record in full development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
