DIE CUT OPERATOR

1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Monday–Friday

Quality Packaging Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Die Cut Operator to join our production team. If you enjoy working with machinery, have strong mechanical aptitude, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating die-cutting equipment to ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production goals. 

What You'll Do 

✅ Set up and operate die-cutting machines, including Promatrix, Zenith, and Baysek equipment 

✅ Prepare, install, and adjust cutting dies to ensure proper registration, alignment, and performance 

✅ Monitor production runs to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency 

✅ Pack finished products by counting pieces, stripping, labeling, inspecting for defects, and preparing products for shipment 

✅ Complete production paperwork, reports, and documentation accurately 

✅ Document production issues and deviations from standard procedures 

✅ Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime 

✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and "tour-ready" work area 

✅ Meet established production rates and quality expectations

Required Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability 
• Basic math skills 
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately 
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Work Environment 

This position operates in a manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels and active production equipment. 

 

Physical Requirements 

• Standing and walking for the majority of the shift 
• Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and product handling 
• Regular lifting of up to 25 lbs 
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs 
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the day

Schedule 

1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM 

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 

Additional hours may occasionally be required based on customer demand and production needs.
