To provide guests with memorable experiences from the moment they arrive, we are looking for a Front Desk Agent who can handle transactions smoothly, offer local insights, and anticipate every request to make guests feel right at home. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests. Process guest bookings, up‑sell opportunities, and provide information to enhance their stay. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. Check guests in and out, issue IDs, room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes. Record and act on guest preferences, messages, requests, questions, and concerns. Serve as a trusted contact for all guests, handling bill issues and providing local knowledge. Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear required protective gear. Maintain a professional appearance and embody the brand’s ambassador role. Stay informed about daily events and activities. Assist colleagues with ad‑hoc duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree is a bonus. Minimum one year of front‑desk or guest‑service experience preferred. Strong communication skills; easy to talk to guests about concerns and compliments. Problem‑solving ability to turn issues into positive experiences. Basic literacy, math, and computer skills; tech‑savvy preferred. Fluency in the local language is desirable; additional language skills beneficial. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts across a 7‑day period. Physical capability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform bending and kneeling tasks. Compensation & Benefits The hourly rate for this role is $20.00 to $23.99.
