About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to take on a pivotal role in driving the enterprise-wide revenue strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning sales, marketing, and customer success to achieve shared goals and a coordinated go-to-market approach. This executive will also be tasked with building, leading, and scaling a national sales organization, setting and executing pipeline, forecasting, and pricing strategies, and fostering relationships with key education decision-makers. The CRO will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to set annual revenue targets and long-term growth strategies, and will be expected to have a strong background in strategic planning, forecasting, and cross-functional go-to-market alignment. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have a proven track record in senior revenue leadership, particularly within the K-12 core curriculum sector at a national scale. The role requires a candidate with a genuine understanding of the K-12 market, its challenges, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior district leaders and state officials. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial, data-driven executive with deep K-12 core curriculum expertise, capable of scaling national sales organizations and aligning cross-functional teams around a unified revenue strategy. Experience in consultative selling, complex district procurement, and competitive differentiation is essential, as is the ability to use data and market insights to identify revenue risks and guide investment decisions. The position is remote, based in California, and will involve regular travel to customers, conferences, team meetings, and company events.
