Managing Director, Industrials Investment Banking

A global mid-market investment bank is hiring a Managing Director to lead industrials coverage out of its New York office. This is a retained, confidential search for a senior banker ready to run their own book with full P\&L ownership and a genuine path to partner. The platform operates on an entrepreneurial model. MDs build and own their sector coverage with autonomy from day one, backed by a well-capitalised, internationally connected firm with strong cross-border deal flow into European sector teams. Sub-vertical is open, spanning aerospace and defense, chemicals, maritime, sustainability, industrials services, sustainability or energy. Track record and a portable client base matter more than a specific label. Responsibilities Lead origination and execution across industrials M&A and capital markets mandates Build and own senior relationships with corporates, sponsors, and management teams Develop and run a dedicated sector practice with full P\&L responsibility Build out a team, with the option to bring existing junior hires across Requirements Minimum two years at MD level with a proven industrials track record Demonstrable revenue history in the five to ten million dollar range Portable client relationships and an established origination network Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating with autonomy and ownership #J-18808-Ljbffr Pearse Partners
