Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree that meets eligibility for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
