Role Description – Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests—encompassing chemistry, hematology, and immunology—while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, identify errors and implement troubleshooting techniques, and carry out preventative maintenance along with calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples accurately for testing, as necessary.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of all procedures, aid in training new personnel or students, and contribute to the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
• Sustain a tidy, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Requirements

• ACSP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification continually throughout your career here.
