Responsibilities – Your Day-to-Day

• Conduct both routine and complex laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Assess results for accuracy, identify and rectify any discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples as necessary.
• Document all processes meticulously, mentor junior staff or students, and play a role in maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health certification coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
