The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current state Registered Pharmacist License. 2. Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred. 3. B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. 4. BLS and ACLS certification preferredFacility Specific Requirements (as applicable required): 5.
