About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Farmington, New Mexico, 87401!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (must be from AHA) Must-Have: Experience in trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, moderate sedation Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Medicine. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. The work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The facility is a level III trauma center and provides comprehensive healthcare services. The patient population includes individuals with various conditions, such as ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric disorders. The Emergency Department features a team nursing approach and a pod system. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main department and 6:1 in fast track areas. Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, and Ultrasound Guided IV. The Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner. Common diagnoses treated include substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain. Candidates must possess required certifications and have experience with relevant medical emergencies.
