Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Floater

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for a floater role in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position involves preparing specimens, managing data entry, troubleshooting issues, and supporting laboratory operations in a high-volume environment. Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Enter patient information accurately and timely into systems
Review requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items identified
Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen issues
Meet department activity and production goals

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
Minimum one year clinical laboratory experience
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Experience working in high-volume laboratory settings
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
