Sourcing SpecialistNextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Sourcing Specialist in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting estimating and pre-production activities by identifying suppliers, securing competitive material pricing, and maintaining accurate cost and availability information.This position is ideal for someone who is organized, persistent, commercially minded, and comfortable balancing multiple supplier requests and deadlines. The right candidate will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure material costs, lead times, and sourcing options are accurate before customer quotes are finalized.Required:Experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, estimating, manufacturing, distribution, or a related functionStrong supplier research and vendor communication skills, including requesting and comparing competitive quotesAbility to evaluate pricing, availability, lead times, freight considerations, and purchasing requirementsStrong Excel, data management, organization, and follow-up skillsAbility to interpret part numbers, bills of material, specifications, and basic technical documentationPreferred:ERP experience supporting purchasing, supplier management, costing, quoting, or item dataManufacturing, construction, fabrication, or industrial sourcing experienceExperience sourcing electrical, mechanical, fabricated, or other industrial componentsExperience identifying alternate suppliers or equivalent products to improve cost or availabilityBackground working directly with manufacturers, distributors, and other supply partnersIf you enjoy supplier research, cost analysis, and finding the right sourcing solution in a fast-moving environment, we'd love to connect.
