Speech Language Pathologist - PRN Department: Quality Care Rehab Employment Type: Flexible Location: Majestic Care Deming Park Compensation: $53.00 - $60.00 / hour Description TMC is a therapy provider that brings physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long term care providers. We are growing and looking for an SLP to join the team. The role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing communication and swallowing disorders across all age groups. Key Responsibilities As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, you will: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized tools. Develop individualized treatment plans and design evidence‑based therapy sessions addressing speech production, language comprehension, social communication, voice quality, and swallowing function. Implement therapeutic interventions such as articulation drills, language exercises, cognitive‑communication tasks, voice therapy, fluency shaping, and swallowing exercises. Assess and implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to support individuals with severe communication impairments. Evaluate and treat dysphagia through clinical assessments, exercises, compensatory strategies, diet modifications, and swallowing rehabilitation techniques to ensure safe swallowing and nutritional intake. Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Master's degree in an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program. Current state license or certification in the state of practice.
