Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant
Location: Alcoa, TN
Pay: $30.00–$35.00/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

We're Hiring! Join a growing team and help businesses maintain accurate financial records while providing exceptional accounting and bookkeeping support.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and process daily financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements and financial reports
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Review and clean up QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online files
- Prepare and file individual and business tax returns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Analyze financial data and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Communicate with clients and provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain organized financial documentation and client records
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred
- Associate degree required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Tax preparation experience preferred; active PTIN preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently with exceptional attention to detail
