Family Nurse Practitioner

Role Overview: This position involves providing primary care services in a correctional facility setting to adult patients, ensuring accurate and professional healthcare delivery within established correctional protocols. Responsibilities: Conduct patient evaluations, manage chronic and acute conditions, document clinical activities, and collaborate with nursing support staff. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold a Virginia nursing license, DEA registration, board certification, and prescriptive authority. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 18-20 patients daily in a secure environment. Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive primary care Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call coverage required. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs. Additional Details: On-site role with adult patient population, requiring prescriptive authority, and working in a government-free setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
