Become a part of our organization’s Division of Cardiology as a Heart Failure Cardiologist, joining the only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program in the region.

Program Overview:

• Our program benefits from robust institutional and community backing, embracing a multidisciplinary approach.
• Work closely with a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and specialists in cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery.
• Engage with a team that possesses expertise in various cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders.
• Deliver pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients, collaborating with regional academic cardiac surgical centers in the Northeast.
• Contribute to a well-established program that is focused on delivering innovative, patient-centered care to those with heart failure.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Clinically focused with adequate research experience and teaching capabilities for an academic appointment.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
• Leadership skills and qualities are highly regarded.
• Excellent communication abilities, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality care to heart failure patients and advancing the field of cardiology.
• Capability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Eligible for an academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range with an incentive bonus opportunity, between $350,000 and $400,000.
