Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the assembly of data, analyses of performance, and identification of problems, as well as develop recommendations which support supply chain management planning and operations. Responsible for striving to understand customer needs, take actions to meet those needs and commitments GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITI ESRegularly provide analysis of supply chain data to ensure key performance indicators are met and making recommendations for process improvemen t.Utilize historical sales in combination with data on trends to generate supply plans and forecast product flo w.Maintain accurate supplier lead-times, replenishment rules and adjust inventory based on customer demand, seasonality, marketing and new product initiatives and sales promotion s.Precisely generate purchase orders based on supply plan and ensure the smooth flow of goods into multiple branch plants, in accordance with company policies and procedure s.Perform order confirmation management and reconciliatio n.Analyze and compare shipping schedules to open orders, communicate and reconcile all discrepancies with vendors and identify product availability issues to Sales, Marketing and Operations managemen t.Attend product team meetings and coordinate all Materials issues for new product introduction s.Control all product phase-outs and end of life to minimize inventory exposur e.Create, update, and maintain standard work process and supply chain documentation, seeking to improve processes, and making recommendations as appropriat e.Ensure a high level of customer service and adequately answer internal and external questions and inquiries in a timely manne r.Prepare and complete reports as assigne JOB QUALIFICATI ONSBachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Systems or relat ed.Minimum 1 year experience, in a quantitative and analytical ro le.Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint and Wo rd.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software Requireme ntsQuantitative and analytical: Highly numerate and possess the ability to perform statistical analysis on large data set, to provide analytical support for projects and new business opportuniti es.Problem-solving skills: Proven ability to identify and resolve proble ms.Critical thinking skills: Affinity for data and resourcefulness in obtaining data and must be able to relate with abstract to make decisions in situations where complete information is not availab le.Strategic and analytical thinker: Make decisions with a long-term focus in a results-oriented environme nt.Organizational skills: Effectively prioritize assignments, manage workload, as well as manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environme nt.Team player: Possess the ability to work with cross functional teams and effectively in a team environme nt.Communication skills: Strong written and oral communication abilities to perform job duties successfully, especially producing weekly repor ts.Apt for Learning: Consistently demonstrate proven ability to learn and use necessary too ls.Thorough knowledge of MRP and other inventory planning techniques, including a good understanding of purchasing fundamentals.
