About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience required License: Valid PT license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Pediatric inpatient and outpatient experience Description: Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist position available. This role involves providing physical therapy to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates should possess experience working with a pediatric population. Some weekend shifts will be required, approximately 1-2 per month. Candidates must have experience with pediatric assessments and individualized care plans. First-time travelers are accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Additional duties will include evaluations, treatment planning, and progress assessments. Emergency and trauma experience is preferred but not required. The position requires the ability to adapt therapy for various developmental delays and conditions. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
