Accounting Assistant

Job Description We are in search of an Accounting Assistant for our team based in Harwich, Massachusetts. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the hospitality industry. The Accounting Assistant will be integral in supporting our accounting department, with a focus on payment inquiries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Research inquiries related to payments, credit cards, and disputes Assist in compiling bills and posting payments for accounts receivable Obtain and research statements for accounts payable Maintain agreements and conduct data entry tasks Provide administrative support, including clerical duties, filing, and answering phone calls Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate records Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for efficient operational management Support the accounting functions by ensuring compliance with industry standards Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure the smooth running of financial operations Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required Experience handling Accounting Functions is essential Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must #J-18808-Ljbffr
