Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an experienced full-time Diabetes Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our established Endocrinology & Diabetes Care practice in Bangor, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate with a passion for diabetes care to make a meaningful impact within a growing, collaborative program that serves patients across the region.
The Opportunity:
Full-time outpatient position with flexible scheduling options , including a 4- or 5-day workweek
Established referral patterns to support a smooth transition into practice
Clinic schedule averaging 12-14 patients per day , allowing time for quality, patient-centered care
Work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team including endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, dietitians, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Provide care for patients with:
Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
Diabetes in pregnancy and gestational diabetes
Post-partum diabetes management
Supported by our ADA-recognized Diabetes and Nutrition Center , which includes RD Certified Diabetes Educators who actively assist with patient management and education

Qualifications:
* Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate with 3+ years' experience
* Eligibility for licensure in the state of Maine
* Experience in diabetes management required
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to care
