SEO/GEO Specialist

SEO/GEO Specialist Hill’s Pet Nutrition, part of Colgate‑Palmolive, is seeking an SEO/GEO Specialist to report to the Senior Manager, Social & Content. The role focuses on developing and managing a comprehensive SEO and geographical search strategy for Hill’s US assets, partnering with Global IT, Product Owners, and other marketing teams to drive search performance and growth. Travel & Work Mode Travel required: up to 10% of time. Work mode: hybrid. Responsibilities Develop and manage a holistic SEO/GEO strategy aligned with business goals and KPIs. Deeply understand business, brand, and category to create a strategic POV on winning search performance. Implement and optimize unified SEO/GEO strategies and campaigns that align with content strategy. Conduct extensive on‑page and off‑page research to fuel roadmap for site optimizations. Analyze technical SEO performance (page speed, architecture, structure, internal linking) and recommend improvements. Assess metadata and schema gaps, leveraging tools to optimize implementation. Stay abreast of SEO & GEO trends and update business on core updates, ensuring strategies remain effective. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing with hands‑on optimization and content creation. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of agile methodology and process. Knowledge of social platform best practices. Subject‑matter expertise in SEO, paid media, and CRM touchpoints. Experienced public speaker and/or PR‑related skills and training. Digital literacy pertaining to the nutrition, commercial, and/or veterinary space. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $96,800.00 – $137,000.00 USD. Pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible employees may receive discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles.
