This position involves providing direct patient care in the operating room environment before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role requires coordinating patient care, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes to promote patient safety and procedural efficiency. Job Details Position Description: September start for a 13-16 week contract, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Responsible for delivering Operating Room Registered Nurse care, including circulating nurse duties such as monitoring patient status, documenting care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Provide scrub nurse support by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons. Required Qualifications: Professional licensure verification, state ID or drivers license, ascension profile, and two professional references. A minimum of 0 years of experience in Operating Room Pediatrics. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Unit is a Trauma Level 1 Pediatric Facility with 14 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms. The facility uses the Cerner Charting System and focuses on trauma and pediatric care.
