Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) Nurse in a Trauma Level 1 Pediatric Facility. This position involves providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role includes coordinating patient care, supporting efficient surgical workflows, and performing circulating and scrub nurse responsibilities. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, drivers license or state ID, professional profile verification, two professional references, 0 years of experience, and current credentials in pediatric or operating room nursing. Responsibilities include delivering perioperative nursing care, monitoring patient status, documenting care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), supporting sterile technique, and assisting surgeons during procedures. Unit description: Trauma Level 1 Pediatric Facility with 14 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms, using Cerner charting system. Additional information: This contract begins in September and extends through December, with shifts scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays nights.
