This role involves providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The position requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support efficient surgical workflows and high-quality clinical results in a trauma level 1 facility with 14 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy procedure rooms. Job Details Licensure / Certification / Registration: Valid Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.(required) Certifications: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. CPR: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at the time of hire. Experience: 1 year OR RN experience; Pediatric RN experience is a plus. Special Notes: Unit includes Trauma Level 1 with 14 ORs and 2 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms. Call requirement is specified. Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
