Medication Access Coordinator

To support medication access for patients, the full-time Medication Access Coordinator will obtain prior authorizations for medications, conduct benefit investigations, and serve as a liaison with insurance companies while working remotely from Pennsylvania. Key responsibilities Complete prior authorization requests and document referrals for medications based on third-party payer criteria Maintain updated knowledge of patient assistance programs and communicate with care teams regarding authorization statuses Educate providers and patients on specialty services to enhance patient care and grow the specialty pharmacy's patient population Required qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement methodologies and medical terminology Experience with customer service in the healthcare industry Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and manage multiple tasks
