Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant for an onsite contract/temporary opportunity. This position will support attorneys and legal teams by providing administrative, documentation, and case management assistance in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, proofread, and file legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlines.
• Draft and revise legal forms, contract amendments, and routine correspondence.
• Organize and maintain legal files, records, and document management systems.
• Coordinate document execution and collect required signatures.
• Assist with legal research and information gathering.
• Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support litigation, contract administration, and general legal department operations.
• Manage multiple requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, court filings, and legal documentation processes.
• Experience supporting litigation, contracts, or compliance functions.

Paralegal Certificate or related education is a plus.
