BruckEdwards is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Specialist to provide adjudicative and administrative support for federal personnel security programs, including processing, tracking, and documenting background investigations and personnel security actions for suitability and national security determinations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Conduct initial reviews of personnel security case files and pre-adjudication documentation.
• Prepare written adjudicative recommendations and case summaries.
• Develop Adjudicator's Worksheets detailing findings and recommendations.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of investigation packages.
• Operate and maintain data in personnel security systems such as NBIS, eAPP, CVS, PIPS, and ATA.
• Verify fingerprint, criminal history, and name checks are completed and documented.
• Track case statuses and maintain accurate personnel security records.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and case tracking spreadsheets.
• Respond to personnel security inquiries via phone and email.
• Validate system data for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and process Visitor Authorization Requests (VARs).
• Safeguard sensitive and personally identifiable information.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Experience supporting federal personnel security, background investigation programs, HSPD-12, and PIV.
• Knowledge of suitability and fitness determinations and background investigation processes.
• Familiarity with federal personnel security regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and case tracking tools.
