About the Role The Hosted Voice System Administrator supports the configuration, provisioning, and day-to-day administration of our cloud-based voice and unified communications platform, handling account setup, system testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support. Reporting to the Manager, VoIP Services, this role brings strong VoIP and telephony administration skills to our cloud-based voice deployments, working closely with engineering, NOC, and field services teams to keep our hosted voice services running reliably for customers. What the Role Involves Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end-user IT service requests via phone, in person, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systemsAssisting with the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group PolicySupporting and maintaining virtualization platforms, including Hyper-V and VMware, and assisting with server provisioning, patching, and performance tuningMonitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting local and wide area network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), including Cisco and Ubiquiti switches, routers, and firewallsAssisting with the administration of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint, and Exchange OnlineSupporting the deployment, imaging, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesPerforming routine maintenance and updates on IT systems, ensuring uptime, security, and performanceParticipating in IT security operations, including endpoint protection, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and access controlSupporting asset lifecycle management, including procurement, imaging, deployment, inventory tracking, and decommissioningResearching hardware and software solutions and assisting with procurement and vendor quote analysisMaintaining documentation related to infrastructure, system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesAssisting IT leadership with planning and implementing projects, capacity planning, and contributing to the annual IT budgeting processCollaborating with internal technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and managing clustered environmentsFamiliarity with Ubuntu/Linux systems and command-line toolsWorking knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, NAT, and port forwardingExperience with firewall administration, switch configuration, and wireless network troubleshootingKnowledge of endpoint management, system imaging, and deployment tools (e.g., MDT, Clonezilla)Experience using ticketing systems and IT asset management platforms (e.g., Lansweeper)Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN support, desktop support, and Windows Server
